Founder story
Natural Her was born from something that has always come naturally to me: caring for people. Before becoming a self-taught loctician. I dedicated 31 years to serving others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In 2011, I was honored as Ombudsman of the Year, an experience that reflected the values that have guided me throughout my life - compassion, advocacy, dignity, trust and care.
When I began my journey as a loctician, those values came with me. I did not see hair care as simply providing a service. I wanted every person who sat in my chair to know that they mattered and that their crown would be treated with thoughtful, personal care.

2 Strand Twist
Give your locs a fresh and beautifully defined look with our 2-Strand Twist service. This versatile style creates a clean, textured appearance while allowing you to enjoy a polished look that can transition effortlessly from everyday wear to special occasions.
LOC CULTIVATION
A backcombing and palmrolling process done with aloe gel. This process may take 3-4 hours depending on the length of your hair.
STARTER LOCS
The starting of locs are done with aloe gel and a comb.
ROOT WRAPPING
If you have locs that are thin at the root or haven't had your locs maintained for a long while
REPAIRING OF LOCS
The process of repairing includes using natural hair to save the lock(s). After the repair, you will not be able to notice where the work was done.
RE-ATTACHING OF LOCS
You will need at least 2 inches of hair for re-attaching. Time varies depending on the amount of locks.
LOC EXTENSIONS
The process of loc extensions includes adding natural hair to create each lock individually by hand.
